Peralta Adobe - Fallon House Historic Site (downtown San José)

Due to construction at the Fallon House the Peralta Adobe and Fallon House Tour is unavailable for the remainder of the 2008 school year.  

We recommend and have available dates for these alternative programs:

4th grade: Valley of Hearts’ Delight, or The Immigration Experience, or School Days in the 1890’s

Step back into the Spanish and Mexican periods of San José by entering Comisionado Luis María Peralta’s 1797 adobe home. Learn about the early American period as you tour Thomas and Carmel Fallon’s 1855 house and discover how their family lived. Grades 5-12 may see a video about the founding of El Pueblo de San José de Guadalupe and its development through the 19th century.
