Description
The Church of the Five Wounds at 1375 East Santa Clara Street, San José, CA is an example of Mission Revival architecture. The parish was founded November 8, 1914 and the building was completed in 1919. It is a replica of the Braga Church in Portugal and much of the material that went into its construction came from the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition in San Francisco.
