- Description
- Glass milk bottles were delivered to homes in San José until the late 1960s. Empty bottles were picked up by the milkman and replaced with fresh bottles of milk. Each customer would request the kind of milk and the amount they needed. This bottle from the American Dairy Company has a red inscription "Building Young Americans, American Dairy Co. San José, CAL".
