End of season party, c. 1970.

In the 1970’s, 1980’s and 1990’s, production workers held a “fiesta” or party at the end of the canning season. Mary Lou Reyes, a long-time Plant #3 employee recalled, “Everybody used to take food…like pot-luck… and later it became more and more, big fiestas because even we… had Mariachis there lots of times.”
