Sanborn Fire Insurance Map, 1917-1929

This map shows the dramatic expansion of the California Packing Corporation’s plant. Several woodframe storage sheds were removed. Two large new warehouses were built and spaces in between buildings were filled in. Notice that the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks now go through the entire site and past Auzerais Avenue.
