This year’s theme will reflect the locavore, home-grown trend for your holiday shopping and gift-giving…unique items as well as local foods in the new Heritage Marketplace.

Heritage Holiday Tea & Tour
Featuring Crunch Catering and heritage teas by Teagré. Tea service by costumed performers from Shady Shakespeare Theatre Company.

  • Seatings at 11 am and 3 pm
  • $25 per person*, $22 for HSJ and HHPZ members.
  • Upstairs in the Empire Firehouse, History Park

The Antique Corner will feature antique evaluations by South Bay's Steve Yvaska, local antique expert. Bring something from the attic or one of grandma's heirlooms.

The Children's Workshop will offer arts and crafts, face-painting and hands-on activities.

Santa Claus will arrive on a vintage fire truck from the North Pole, and then be available for photo ops. Bring your camera!

The Master Gardeners’ Centerpiece demonstrations are always a huge holiday favorite.

Write a letter to Santa and mail it to the North Pole from the Coyote Post Office.

Book Signing by the South Bay illustrator and children’s book author, Jim Hummel.

Shopping for local arts, foods, candies and gifts in the Museum Store.

O’Brien’s Ice Cream Parlor and Museum Café will be serving San José’s own Treat ice cream and lots of other goodies.

Entertainment by Relative Insanity, Wayne Jiang on dulcimer and auto harp, and strolling costumed carolers from the Lyric Theatre.

Demonstrations include costumed carolers, live music, yarn-spinning and lace-making.
